There have been bakeries in Soknedal for many generations. In the 1930s and 1940s there were four bakeries in the village. Later the number went down to one, and then with the Lium family as drivers. Todays Soknedal Bakery and Confectionery was founded in 2008, and has grown steadily since then.
In addition to the bakery in Soknedal with its cafeteria and sales, Soknedal Bakery and Confectionery has branches in Melhus, Støren, Berkåk and in Ila in Trondheim.
Here you get delicious cakes, yeast baked goods and healthy bread baked in a traditional and good way. That is, with a good hand and without unnecessary additions.
