Brattlia Mat og Kultur is located 90 meters above sea level with a good view over a beautiful valley in the middle of the country. Organic farming and small-scale production of sauna-smoked meat with local ingredients are carried out here.
Sauna smoking is a tradition with roots far back in time, which creates a taste that is both unique and turns the ingredients into an authentic quality product.
Since 2010, the product 'Badsturøkt Kjøtt på Namdalsk Vis' has had the protected designation for traditional distinctive character, as one of the first to receive this label.
For sale at Trøndersk Food Festival, they bring the sauna-raised forest pig, organic sauna-smoked cow, organic and sauna-raised sheep, cured sausage chorizo, organic cow sausage, organic lamb sausage and lamb skin.
