Åstfjordlam

Åstfjordlam can be found in Snillfjord at the farm Mjønesaune. From the farm you can see beyond the beautiful Åstfjord. Here, Turid Mjønesaune runs white späelsau and "gammelnorsk sheep", perhaps better known as wild sheep. The sheep thrive at Mjønesaune - which gives great skins and good meat. The supply of lamb meat is seasonal.
