Orkladal Ysteri is a small farm cheese factory in beautiful Råbygda. Here, Merethe Landrø makes soft and firm kit cheeses, blue cheese, semi-hard cheese with caraway and fresh cheeses such as roast cheese (halloumi) and mozzarella - all on local milk from the Meland/Skjenald.
The cheeses of "Orkladal Ysteri" are sold throughout Norway, and have received several awards in national and international championships. Orkladal Ysteri offers the cheeses Høvding Sverre Ung, - Lagret and -XO, Gelmin, Rokoll, Skjenald and Søster Cecilia.
