Galåvolden Farm

Galåvolden farm is the Røros region's leading supplier of fresh farm eggs, and sells a wide range of farm food products. Here, milk from our own farm is used in both cheeses, ice cream and in the traditional Røroskaken. The farm produces various types of Røros cheese, Rausjødal cheese, Røros ice cream and Røros cake.

In our facility in Havsjøveien, we have an egg-breaking machine that breaks a large number of eggs in a day, and it separates the yolk from the white. In Havsjøveien we produce Røros Mayonnaise, and fresh waffle and pancake batter - there we use both milk from our own cows and our own eggs.

In the spring of 2021, we launched Røros Meringue, and the three products Large Meringue Base from Røros, Small Meringue Base from Røros and Söte Pikekyss from Røros. In the past, we had a lot of wastage of egg whites, while today we get to use the whole egg for further processing into great products.

With Small Meringue buns from Røros and Røros Ice Cream with mullets, we won gold with both in their respective categories in The Norwegian Meal. 2 gold in the same year, for both a well-known and loved product and a completely new one.
